Experiencing issues with Dosearches (DoSearch engine, DOsearches.com)
We TeeSupport
Centre have learned that Do searches is a very annoying search engine that
makes instead of the original internet browsers installed on victims’
computers. It can modify the settings of the default homepage and search engine
without their permission, and change it into dosearches.com. Once changes happen,
users can find out that each time they try to open their browsers, it
automatically goes to dosearches.com (Do-search.com) or related sites like http://www.dosearches.com/?utm_source=b&utm_medium=wpc&utm_campaign=rg&utm_content=sc&from=wpc&uid=WDCXWD5000BPVT-55HXZT3_WD-WXL1E91WKYK6WKYK6&ts=1384061375.
Even though users try hard to reset their home page, but Do searches keeps
coming back as their default homepage. And most of them cannot get the previous
settings of browsers. Here some examples collected by our TeeSupport stuff.
“How do I get browser hijacker called
dosearch.com out of my default homepage? Every time I try to reset my home page
dosearch.com keeps coming back as my default homepage. I need to get rid of it.
Do I have to uninstall internet explorer and re-install IE to get rid of it.”
“When I open my Google chrome Do
searches engine is opening the web site is
http://www.dosearches.com/?utm_source=b&utm_medium=wpc&utm_campaign=rg&utm_content=sc&from=wpc&uid=WDCXWD5000BPVT-55HXZT3_WD-WXL1E91WKYK6WKYK6&ts=1384061375.
Previously Google search was my home page. I have downloaded one program kaplan
toefl cd I think it has changed all my settings, I have deleted that program
and still my settings has not been changed. Please do help me to restore my
previous settings.”
Apart from that, from some cases, we can
know that Dosearches.com can attack all kinds of internet browsers such as Google
Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Yahoo, or Bing. So it is not a good idea to
change other browsers if you find Do Search is affecting your computer. You can
see a especial case below:
“I found that every time I open my
browser it automatically goes to dosearches.com even though I have repeatedly
tried to change my homepage. I basically only use Firefox, but I also have IE
and Chrome downloaded on my computer and it was in Firefox that I completed the
updates, but all three browsers have dosearches.com in them now.
When I go into Firefox and try to reset
to the default homepage that doesn't work either because dosearches.com has
made itself the default homepage, and I can find nothing that tells me how to
change the default homepage in any browser.”
Why these
annoying things happen, for Do Searches is a kind of browser hijacker and
adware that can hijack the original homepage and show millions of commercial
pop-up notifications or ads on the redirected sites like http://dosearches.com/.
