What is Trojan.DNSChanger?
Trojan.DNSChanger, categorized as a DNS hijacking Trojan, was detected by several powerful antivirus programs. This Trojan horse is relatively tricky. Once installed on the computer system, in the back ground it will soon drop some junk files and make several random folders. To make it difficult for computer users to find out its malicious files and folders from all the legal system files, it places those malicious items to everywhere of the computer system. In order to run automatically along with computer boot-up, this Trojan virus adds its own start-up registry entries to Windows registry.
