Such a pop-up can pop up on your Chrome, Firefox and IE, its domain may contain something like freestuff-giveaway-sweepstakes.com. It claims that you the lucky site viewer to win a prize. If you click to continue, you will be redirected to Everydayrewardsclub.com and required to leave your Email address.

You should keep a clear head. There is no free lunch. This is the first step of a scam. If you leave your mail address, you will get nothing helpful but harmful viruses like trojans. Or it will send next-step cheating information. For example, it may tell you to pay for the tax before getting the reward. Victims who do as it says still get nothing and they lose the money.
