"Ads not by this site" this shows
up on every website I go too and it's not normal. Is this a virus?
And when I
go to Facebook on Google chrome the little lock thing is not green on the
address bar. It's yellow: "Ads not by this site" virus?”
“After downloading a game through a link my
friend sent to me (maybe that wasn't the wisest of choices), the text "ads
not by this site" has appeared on most websites I go on. There is also a
space above it, maybe where the ad should go, except there is no ad. It's
annoying because it makes random spaces on the page.”
“I ran Malwarebytes and removed a good
number of threats, ran CCleaner, and then ran Malwarebytes again with no
threats detected. The problem seemed to be fixed after that, but in a while the
"ads not by this site" thing came back. Since then I have just been
running CCleaner every time that comes up, but it always ends up later coming
back.”
