Special Description of EXP/JAVA.Rafold.Gen
Briefly Information of EXP/JAVA.Rafold.Gen
Virus Name: EXP/JAVA.Rafold.Gen
Type: Exploit
Subtype: Java
Risk: High
EXP/JAVA.Rafold.Gen is an infection detected
by some famous anti-virus programs like Avira and Malwarebytes. It starts to
execute when computer users run programs or applications which have connected
with Java. It can attack all kinds of internet browsers such as Bing, Yahoo, Internet
Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome. So if users want to load web-based
software with Java, a pop-up window with sayings like this “Web Protection:
Attention Detection! A virus or unwanted program was found! Detection:
EXP/JAVA.Rafold.V.Gen” displays on the webpage, and at the bottom of the
pop-up, it says “please select the action to be performed”. It shows three only
options are to Deny access, quarantine, or ignore, but if victims choose one,
the notification message is still here. Some victims have decided to uninstall
the Java in their system and reinstall it, but when they open anything with Java,
the same message pops up again. Even though they have tried to do a full scan
with some top anti-virus applications installed on their PCs, but they still
get this notification when trying to run programs with Java. So it is a very
annoying thing that can stop users from using PCs to search online.
